VRIS Solenoid
- Connect voltmeter between solenoid valve Brown/White wire and ground. See Fig 1
. Start engine and note voltage. If voltage is not to specifications, check ECU terminal voltage and connections.

- Disconnect vacuum hoses from solenoid. Blow through port B. Ensure air exhaust through air filter.
- Disconnect solenoid connector. Apply 12 volts to one solenoid terminal and ground the other. Blow through port B. Ensure air exhaust through port A. See Figure
