Throttle Sensor

  1. Operate engine to normal operating temperature. With engine off, install Checker Light (49 F018 001) to the Green check connector. See Fig 1 .
  2. Turn ignition on and note checker light. One light should activate on checker light. If none or both lights activate, remove cap and rotate throttle sensor adjusting screw until only one light activates. See Fig 2 .
  3. If both lights are activated, rotate adjusting screw counterclockwise until one light activates. If no lights are activated, rotate adjusting screw clockwise until one light activates. Reinstall cap on adjusting screw.
CAUTION: DO NOT  apply excessive pressure on adjusting screw while adjusting. Excessive pressure will cause incorrect adjustment.
