• Stored trouble codes.
• Ignition system and timing.
• Initial set coupler jumper wire removed (non-turbo).
• Inspect air intake system for leaks.
• Air control valve operation.
• Air filter condition.
• Airflow meter operation.
• Intake air temp. sensor in airflow meter.
• Check auxiliary port valve (non-turbo).
• Intake air temperature sensor.
• Injector operating sound (non-turbo).
• Check double throttle system operation.
• Check pressure or boost sensor.
• Main fuel line pulsations to indicate operation (turbo).
• Throttle sensor operation.
• Coolant thermosensor.
• Fuel pressure and fuel leaks.
• ECU operation.
• Check feedback system.
• Engine compression.
• Check injection volume.
• Check knock control (turbo).
• Check turbo and wastegate valve.
• Check turbo control system.
• Check accelerator cable.
