Trouble Code No. 02

  1. Check all connections and repair as necessary. Check airflow meter resistance. See AIRFLOW METER under COMPONENT TESTING  in this article.
  2. If resistance is okay, check for voltage at BRN/WHT wire of airflow connector. Voltage should be 4.5-5.5 volts. If voltage is not within specification, check for faulty wiring circuit or defective ECU.
  3. If voltage is correct, check for continuity between proper terminals of airflow meter and ECU. See ECU & AIRFLOW METER TERMINAL USAGE  table. Determine terminal identification. See Figure and Fig 1 . If continuity does not exist, check wiring circuit. If continuity exists, ECU is defective.
