Connect a voltmeter to Blue/Red terminal of TICS control solenoid valve. See Figure . Gradually increase engine speed and check voltmeter reading. At idle, voltage should be less than 2.0 volts. At greater than 4000 RPM, voltage should be approximately 12 volts.
