Heat Sensor Test
- Remove sensor. Wrap sensor and thermometer with aluminum foil to prevent oil penetration. Place thermometer and sensor in container of oil.
- Connect test light and battery to sensor terminals. See Fig 1 . Heat oil and note temperature in the aluminum foil when test light activates. Test light should activate when temperature reaches 221-239°F (105-115°C). Replace sensor if not within specification.
CAUTION:
DO NOT allow oil temperature to exceed 302°F (150°C).
