Coolant THERMOVALVE

  1. Remove coolant thermovalve from throttle body. Place coolant thermovalve in container of water.
  2. Heat water gradually and note temperature at which air will pass through proper port location of valve. See COOLANT THERMOVALVE SPECIFICATIONS  table. Temperature of air passage must be within specification.

Less Than 140°F (60°C) Top To Bottom
(1) From top port out through top center area of valve.
