Pressure Sensor Test

  1. Disconnect vacuum hose from sensor. Connect voltmeter to "D" terminal. See Fig 1 . Using vacuum pump, apply 3.9 in. Hg to sensor.
  2. Turn ignition on and note voltage reading. Voltage should be 2.8-3.2 volts for non-turbo or 1.9-2.1 volts for turbo models. Replace sensor if not within specification.
