Switching Solenoid Valve Signal Check

  1. Install tachometer. Warm engine to normal operating temperature. Allow engine to idle. Connect Checker Light (49 F018 001) to Green connector. See Figure .
  2. Disconnect hose at air control valve. See Figure . Cover valve port with finger and ensure Red checker light activates and air is drawn into valve under designated conditions. See RED CHECKER LIGHT OPERATION  table.
