Oil Pressure Switch Test (Non-Turbo A/T)
- Remove switch. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between switch casing and switch connector terminal while applying air pressure to switch.
- Continuity should be present when pressure is less than 7.1 psi (0.54 kg/cm2 ) and continuity should not be present when pressure is greater than 43 psi (3.0 kg/cm2 ). If switch does not operate within specifications, replace switch.
