Test B: Only Driver Window Inoperative

  1. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage at Red/Black wire terminal of main switch connector with driver's switch in UP position. Also measure voltage at Green/Black wire terminal of main switch connector with driver's switch in DOWN position. If battery voltage is present at both terminals, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present at both terminals, check main switch. See MAIN SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS.
  2. Access driver window motor. Measure voltage at Red/Black wire terminal of driver window motor connector with driver's switch in UP position. Also measure voltage at Green/Black wire terminal of driver window motor connector with driver's switch in DOWN position. If battery voltage is present at both terminals, check driver window motor. See WINDOW MOTOR  under COMPONENT TESTS. If battery voltage is not present at both terminals, check for broken wire(s) between driver window switch and driver window motor. Repair wiring as necessary.
