Test B: Only Driver Window Does Not Operate
- Turn ignition on. Check voltage at Red wire terminal of main switch connector while depressing driver window switch on main switch in UP position. Then check voltage at Green wire terminal of main switch connector while depressing driver window switch on main switch in DOWN position. If battery voltage is present at both terminals, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present at both terminals, check UP/DOWN switch portion of main switch. - Check voltage at Red wire terminal of driver power window motor connector while depressing driver window switch on main switch in UP position. Then check voltage at Green wire terminal of driver power window motor connector while depressing driver window switch on main switch in DOWN position. If battery voltage is present at both terminals, check power window motor. See POWER WINDOW MOTOR under COMPONENT TESTS. If battery voltage is not present at both terminals, repair wiring harness between main switch and driver power window motor. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
