Symptom No. 3

  1. Turn ignition on. At main switch connector, check voltage at Red/Black wire terminal (main switch/passenger's in UP position) and Green/Black wire terminal (main switch/passenger's in DOWN position). If battery voltage is not present at both terminals, replace main switch. If battery voltage is present at both terminals, go to next step.
  2. At sub-switch connector, check voltage at Red/Black wire terminal (main switch/passenger's in UP position) and Green/Black wire terminal (main switch/passenger's in DOWN position). If battery voltage is not present at both terminals, repair wiring between main switch and sub-switch. If battery voltage is present at both terminals, go to next step.
  3. At sub-switch connector, check voltage at Red wire terminal (main switch/passenger's in UP position) and Green wire terminal (main switch/passenger's in DOWN position). If battery voltage is not present at both terminals, replace sub-switch. If battery voltage is present at both terminals, go to next step.
  4. At passenger's window motor connector, check voltage at Red wire terminal (main switch/passenger's in UP position) and Green wire terminal (main switch/passenger's in DOWN position). If battery voltage is not present at both terminals, repair wiring between sub-switch and window motor. If battery voltage is present at both terminals, replace window motor.
