Door Lock Actuator

  1. Remove door lock actuator from door. Connect positive lead of battery to terminal "C" of door lock actuator 4-pin connector and negative lead to terminal "D" of door lock actuator connector. SeeFig 1 . Door lock actuator should be in locked position.
  2. Connect positive lead of battery to terminal "D" of door lock actuator connector and negative lead to terminal "C" of door lock actuator connector. Door lock actuator should be in unlocked position.
  3. While operating actuator rod, check continuity between terminals "A" and "B" of door lock actuator connector. Continuity should not exist with actuator rod pushed. Continuity should exist with actuator rod pulled. Replace door lock actuator if not as specified.
