NOTE: This article may refer to the on-board computer as either Electronic Control Module (ECM) or Powertrain Control Module-Engine (PCME).

NOTE: Trouble Codes No. 6, 12, 55, 60, 61, 62 and 63 are automatic transmission related problems. If codes are present, see appropriate lemon-25 TRANSMISSION SERVICE & REPAIR publication.
