Test No. 2

  1. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage at Red/Black wire terminal of main switch connector with driver's switch in UP position. Measure voltage at Green/Black wire terminal of main switch connector with driver's switch in DOWN position. If battery voltage exists at both terminals with switch in indicated position, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist at both terminals, check main switch. See MAIN SWITCH TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS.
  2. Measure voltage at Red/Black wire terminal of driver's window motor connector with driver's switch in UP position. Measure voltage at Green/Black wire terminal of driver's window motor connector with driver's switch in DOWN position.
  3. If battery voltage exists at both terminals with switch in indicated position, check window motor. See WINDOW MOTOR TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS. If battery voltage does not exist at both terminals, repair wiring between main switch and window motor.
