Driver-Side Air Bag Module: Removal

Before proceeding, follow air bag service precautions. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONS  . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM  . Remove trim plugs. Remove screws and washers retaining air bag module to steering wheel. See Figure . Disconnect air bag module electrical connector from clockspring. Remove air bag module.
