New Generation STAR (NGS) Tester

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Insert appropriate vehicle interface module and program card into NGS tester. Connect NGS OBD-II adapter cable connector to NGS tester. Connect 5-pin connector of adapter cable to Data Link Connector-2 (DLC-2). See Figure . Plug NGS tester power cable into cigarette lighter or use battery hook-up adapter. Listen for double beep sound and go to KOEO SELF-TEST.
