Pressure Differential Switch

NOTE: Pressure differential switch operation may also be checked using brake warning (Red) light.
  1. Connect one end of a vinyl tube to front brake bleeder screw and place other end in a container half filled with clean brake fluid. Loosen bleeder screw. Turn ignition on. Ensure ABS warning light flashes for 2 seconds, then goes off.
NOTE: One person should hold vinyl tube to prevent tube from being disconnected when brake pedal is depressed.
  2. Have an assistant hold vinyl tube. Depress brake pedal several times and ensure ABS warning light illuminates, indicating pressure differential switch is on.
