EGR Position Sensor

  1. Disconnect EGR position sensor electrical connector. Disconnect vacuum hose from EGR control valve. Apply vacuum to EGR control valve.
  2. Check sensor resistance between indicated terminals. See EGR POSITION SENSOR RESISTANCE  table. See Fig 1 . If resistance is not within specifications, replace sensor.
