System Operation

With engine warmed to normal operating temperature, check idle speed at different operating conditions. See IDLE SPEED SPECIFICATIONS  table. If idle speed is not within specification, check for binding throttle linkage, vacuum leaks, defective or dirty idle air control valve and misadjusted fast idle cam.
