Differential Pressure Feedback EGR (DPFE) Sensor
- Connect New Generation Star (NGS) Tool (49 T088 0A0) to data link connector 2 located under left side of dash. Start engine and warm to normal operating temperature. Operate at idle. Using NSG tool, access DPFEGR PID and record value. See DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE FEEDBACK EGR (DPFE) SENSOR VOLTAGE TABLE . If DPFEGR PID value is not as specified, go to next step.
- Turn ignition on. Using NSG tool, access DPFEGR PID. Disconnect tubes from DPFE sensor. Connect hand pump to intake manifold side of DPFE sensor. Apply vacuum and record value. See DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE FEEDBACK EGR (DPFE) SENSOR VOLTAGE TABLE . If DPFEGR PID value is not as specified, replace DPFE sensor.
