System Inspection

Turn ignition on and verify injector operating sound is present while cranking engine. Turn ignition off. Depress accelerator pedal fully and turn ignition on. Verify injector operating sound is not present while cranking engine. If operating sound is present, check PCM terminal No. 89. See PIN VOLTAGE/PID VALUE CHARTS article.
