Test No. 3
- Remove driver's door trim panel. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage at specified wire terminals of main switch connector with main switches in specified position. See POWER WINDOW SUB-SWITCH CIRCUIT TEST under TEST NO. 1. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If battery voltage is present at all terminals, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present at all terminals, check main switch. See MAIN SWITCH TEST under COMPONENT TESTS.
- Remove passenger's and rear door trim panels. Measure voltage at specified wire terminals of each sub-switch connector with main switches in specified position. See POWER WINDOW SUB-SWITCH CIRCUIT TEST under TEST NO. 1. Refer to appropriate wiring diagram under WIRING DIAGRAMS . If battery voltage is present at all terminals, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present at all terminals, repair suspect wiring between main switch and sub-switch.
- Measure voltage at specified wire terminals of each sub-switch connector with main switches in specified position. See POWER WINDOW SUB-SWITCH-TO-MOTOR VOLTAGE TEST under TEST NO. 1. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If battery voltage is present at all terminals, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present at all terminals, check sub-switch. See SUB-SWITCH TEST under COMPONENT TESTS.
- Measure voltage at specified wire terminals of each window motor connector with main switches in specified position. See POWER WINDOW SUB-SWITCH-TO-MOTOR VOLTAGE TEST under TEST NO. 1. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If battery voltage is present at all terminals, check window motor. See WINDOW MOTOR TEST under COMPONENT TESTS. If battery voltage is not present at all terminals, repair suspect wiring between sub-switch and window motor.
