Idle Speed & Ignition Timing

Ensure idle speed and base ignition timing are set to specification. See the appropriate IDLE SPEED SPECIFICATIONS and IGNITION TIMING SPECIFICATIONS tables. If adjustment is necessary, see ADJUSTMENTS - 2.0L article.
