Yes | Go to next step. |
| No | Refer to IMMOBILIZER SYSTEMS . | ||
| 2 | CHECK FOR OTHER POWERTRAIN DTCs
|
Yes | Go to next step. |
| No | Go to appropriate DTC Troubleshooting. | ||
| 3 | ATTEMPT TO START ENGINE
|
Yes | No system faults exist at present time. For intermittent No Starts or Start Stalls, check for intermittent PATS faults.
NOTE:
PATS cannot stall the engine after 1 second of operation. For intermittent Stalls while driving, verify NGS Tester to PCM communication during concern. If PCM communication error occurs, possible causes are:
Repair as necessary and return vehicle to customer. |
