Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor Removal/Installation

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Disconnect the CMP sensor connector.
- Remove the CMP sensor installation bolt.
- Remove the CMP sensor.
- Make sure that the CMP sensor is free of any metallic shavings or particles.
- If metallic shavings or particles are found on the sensor, clean them off.
- Install the CMP sensor in the reverse order of removal.
Tightening torque
- 7.9-10.7 N.m {80-110 kgf cm, 69.5-95.4 in.lbf}
