Throttle Position (TP) Sensor Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the TP sensor connector.
  2. Remove the TP sensor attaching screws.
  3. Remove the TP sensor from the throttle body.
  4. Verify that the throttle valve is fully closed.
  5. Install the TP sensor to the throttle body.
  6. Adjust the TP sensor.
  7. Tighten the TP sensor attaching screws.

    Tightening torque 

    1. 3.0 N.m {31 kgf.cm, 27 in.lbf}

  8. Verify that the throttle valve moves smoothly.
  9. Reconnect the TP sensor connector.
