DTC P0118: ECT Sensor Input High: Condition

PCM monitors input voltage at terminal No. 38 If voltage is more than 4.6 volts, DTC is set. Causes may include the following:

• Faulty ECT sensor.
• Open or short to power in Red/Blue wire between ECT sensor harness connector terminal No. 1 and PCM harness connector terminal No. 38.
• Open in Brown/Yellow wire between ECT sensor harness connector terminal No. 2 and PCM harness connector terminal No. 91.
• Faulty connector at ECT sensor or PCM.
• PCM malfunction.
