Test 1: Power Windows Do Not Operate

  1. Inspect P.WIND (30 amp) fuse, replace if necessary. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect power window main switch connector. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using DVOM, measure voltage at connector terminal "H" (Black/Red wire). If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, repair wiring between P.WIND (30 amp) fuse and main switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  2. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Check continuity between power window main switch terminal "F" (Black wire) and ground. If continuity is present, replace power window main switch. See MAIN SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If continuity is not present, repair wiring between cruise control main switch and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
