(2) Inspect at 60,000 miles. Replace belt at 105,000 miles. If the vehicle is operated in cold districts, below 0°F (-18°C), replace timing belt at 60,000 miles.
(3) Replace coolant at 45,000 miles (50,000 miles on B2500, B3000, B4000 and Tribute), then every 30,000 miles.
(4) Recommended but not required for California vehicles.

(2) Serpentine belt is used with automatic belt tensioner. Tension is correct if indicator is within limit marks.
(3) 3.0L engine has 2 drive belts. Accessory belt is a serpentine belt located on front of engine. Water pump drive belt is located on back of engine. Specification for water pump drive belt tension is not available from manufacturer.
