DTC P0453: Ftp Sensor Input High: Condition

When engine is running and engine coolant temperature is less than 176°F, PCM monitors input voltage at terminal No. 62. If voltage is more than 4.8 volts for 2 seconds, DTC is set. Causes may include the following:

• Faulty FTP sensor.
• Open between FTP sensor harness connector terminal "A" and PCM harness connector terminal No. 62.
• Open between FTP sensor harness connector terminal "B" and PCM harness connector terminal No. 91
• Short in FTP sensor signal circuit to constant voltage supply circuit.
• Faulty connector.
• PCM malfunction.
