Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor

NOTE: B2300 & Tribute 2.0L use a Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) sensor. See CYLINDER HEAD TEMPERATURE (CHT) SENSOR  .

ECT sensor is a thermistor device which changes resistance proportionate to temperature changes. ECT sensor inputs engine coolant temperature to PCM. For ECT sensor location, see CHT & ECT SENSOR LOCATIONS  table.
