Transaxle Range (Tr) Sensor: Removal
- Place the vehicle in neutral.
- Disconnect the battery cables.
- Remove the battery and tray.
- Disconnect the breather tube and mass air flow (MAF) / intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.
- Remove the intake tube and air cleaner cover.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly.
NOTE: It may be necessary to remove the thermostat housing to gain access to the transaxle range (TR) sensor.
- Remove the thermostat housing.
- Remove the transaxle range (TR) sensor.
- Disconnect the TR sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the bolts.
- Remove the TR sensor.
