Brake Fluid Replacement
CAUTION:
- Brake fluid will damage painted surfaces. If brake fluid gets on a painted surface, wipe it off immediately.
- Remove the brake fluid from the reservoir by using a suction pump.
- Fill the reservoir with clean brake fluid.
- Attach a vinyl tube to the farthest bleeder screw and place the other end of the tube in a clear container.
- Remove all old brake fluid from the brake lines by loosening the bleeder screw and pumping the brake pedal until only clean fluid is seen. The reservoir should be kept about 3/4 full during bleeding to prevent air from reentering the lines.
- Perform the above for all bleeder screws.
- Fill the reservoir to the specified levels.
