Rear Axle Speed Sensor Removal/Installation
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Disconnect the rear axle speed sensor connector (1).
- Remove the bolt (2).
- Remove the rear axle speed sensor (3).
- Install in reverse order of removal.
- Tightening Torque
- 34-40 N.m (3.5-4.1 kgf.m, 25-29 ft.lbf)
- Tightening Torque
NOTE:
Inspect the anti-lock brake sensor O-ring for damage; lightly lubricate O-ring with rear axle lubricant.
CAUTION:
Before removing the rear axle speed sensor, clean any dirt around the sensor to prevent the dirt from contaminating the rear axle fluid.
