Module Inspection & Verification: Notes

Visually inspect for obvious signs of electrical damage.
1. Central Junction Box (CJB) Fuse 5 (10A).
2. Damaged wiring harness.
3. Loose or corroded connectors.
4. 4WABS control module.
  - If the concern remains after inspection, connect the WDS or equivalent Tester to the Data Link Connector (DLC) located beneath the instrument panel and select the vehicle to be tested from WDS or equivalent Tester menu.
  - If WDS or equivalent Tester does not communicate with the vehicle:
5. Check that the program card is properly installed.
6. Check the connections to the vehicle.
7. Check the ignition switch is in RUN position.
  - If the WDS or equivalent Tester still will not communicate with the vehicle, see MODULE COMMUNICATION INDEX .
