Upper Intake Manifold: Installation

Inspect intake manifold gasket and replace if necessary. Install intake manifold and 5 mounting bolts. Tighten bolts evenly to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.

Reinstall upper intake manifold using NEW gasket. Tighten upper intake manifold bolts evenly in sequence and 2 passes. See Fig 1. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
