Detection Condition

PCM monitors Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor input voltage at PCM terminal No. 38. If voltage is more than 4.57 volts, DTC is set. This is a continuous monitor. MIL is illuminated if PCM detects malfunction during first drive cycle.
