Detection Condition

Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is set when Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor signal at PCM terminal "4N". If voltage at PCM terminal "4N" is below 0.2 volt, PCM determines that IAT sensor circuit has malfunction. This is a continuous monitor (CCM). MIL illuminates if PCM detects the malfunction condition during first drive cycle. Pending code is not available. Freeze Frame Data is available and DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
