Detection Condition

DTC is set when Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) is less than 176°F (80°C) and Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP) sensor input is more than 4.8 volts after engine is started. Powertrain Control Module (PCM) determines that FTP sensor circuit has a malfunction. This is a continuous monitoring (CCM). Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) illuminates if PCM detects this malfunction conditions in 2 consecutive drive cycles. Pending codes is available if PCM detects malfunction during first drive cycle. Freeze Frame Data is available and DTC will store in PCM memory.
