(1) On MPV, manufacturer recommends cleaning at 22,500 and 60,000 miles.
(2) Inspect timing belt at 60,000 miles. Replace belt at 105,000 miles. If the vehicle is operated in cold districts, below 0°F (-18°C), replace timing belt at 60,000 miles.
(3) Replace coolant at 45,000 miles (50,000 miles on Tribute), then every 30,000 miles.
(4) Manufacturer recommends inspecting coolant every 30,000 miles and replacing at 105,000 miles; after that, every 30,000 miles.
(5) No interval available from manufacturer.
(6) Manufacturer recommends replacing spark plugs at 105,000 miles; after that, every 30,000 miles.

(1) Used belt is a belt in operation for more than 5 minutes.
(2) Serpentine belt is used with automatic belt tensioner. Tension is correct if indicator is within limit marks. See Fig 1.
(3) Water pump drive belt uses automatic belt tensioner. Tension is correct if indicator is within limit marks. See Fig 1.
(4) 3.0L engine has 2 drive belts. Accessory belt is a serpentine belt located on front of engine. Water pump drive belt is located on back of engine. Engine is available with and without automatic tensioner on water pump drive belt. Specification for water pump drive belt tension is not available from manufacturer.
