MPV (Without ABS)

NOTE: VSS is mounted internally in transaxle. Information for replacement of sensor is not available from manufacturer.

Disconnect transaxle connector No. 2 (8-pin). See Fig 1 and Fig 2 . Measure resistance between terminals "A" and "B" on transaxle side of connector No. 2. See VSS SPECIFICATIONS (MIATA A/T & MPV WITHOUT ABS) table. If resistance is not within specification, replace VSS.
