Pressure Regulator Control Solenoid Valve

NOTE: Pressure Regulator Control (PRC) solenoid valve is only used on Protege and Protege5.

Disconnect vacuum hose from PRC solenoid valve. See PRC SOLENOID VALVE LOCATIONS  table. Apply air pressure to PRC solenoid valve port "B". See Fig 1. Air should flow from port "C" only. Using fused jumper wires, apply battery voltage to solenoid terminals. Apply air pressure to PRC solenoid valve port "B". Air should flow through PRC solenoid valve air filter (port "A") only. If PRC solenoid valve operation is not as specified, replace PRC solenoid valve.
