Mode 2 - EGR System Repair Verification Drive Mode

1. Perform MODE 1 - PCM ADAPTIVE MEMORY PROCEDURE DRIVE MODE  first.
2. Ensure all accessory loads (A/C, headlights, blower fan, rear window defroster) are off.
3. Drive vehicle at speeds shown in graph. See Fig 1. Driving condition before constant speed driving is not specified.
4. Stop vehicle and access ON BOARD SYSTEM READINESS menu of GENERIC OBD II FUNCTIONS to verify drive mode completion status. If drive mode is completed, Readiness Function Check (RFC) FLAG should change from NO to YES.
5. If drive mode is not complete, turn ignition off and go back to step  3.
6. Access DIAGNOSTIC MONITORING TEST RESULTS menu of GENERIC OBD II FUNCTIONS to monitor and verify test results. If MEAS are not within specification, repairs are not complete.
7. Verify DTCs are not present.
