Detection Condition

PCM monitors input voltage from Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP) sensor when monitoring condition is met. If PCM terminal 62 voltage is less than 0.20 volt after engine is started, PCM determines FTP sensor circuit is malfunctioning. This is a Continuous Monitor (CM). MIL illuminates if PCM detects malfunction condition in 2 consecutive drive cycles. Pending code is available if PCM detects malfunction condition during first drive cycle. Freeze Frame Data is available and DTC is stored in PCM memory.

Monitoring Condition -  Engine coolant temperature is less than 176 °F (80 °C).
