Fuel Pulse Damper - 2.3L Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the intake manifold. See INTAKE MANIFOLD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - 2.3L .
  3. Disconnect the vacuum hose at the fuel pulse damper.

  4. Remove the fuel pulse damper.
    • Remove the retaining clip.
    • Remove the fuel pulse damper.

  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Lubricate the O-rings with clean engine oil.
