Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor Removal/Installation - 3.0L

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the connector the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector.

  3. Remove the screws and the CMP sensor.

  4. Install in reverse order of removal.
    1. Tightening torque 
      1. 2.5-3.5 N.m (26-36 kgf.cm, 23-30 in.lb)
