Both Sensors

NOTE:
  • If necessary, lubricate the HO2S with lock lubricant to assist in removal.
  1. Disconnect the HO2S electrical connector.

  2. Remove the heated oxygen sensors (HO2S) from the exhaust manifolds.
    • If necessary, lubricate the heated oxygen sensors to assist in removal.

  3. Disconnect the HO2S electrical connector.

  4. Remove the heated oxygen sensors from the exhaust pipe using the Oxygen Sensor Wrench.
    • If necessary, lubricate the heated oxygen sensors to assist in removal.

    NOTE:
    • Apply a light coat of anti-seize compound to the threads of the heated oxygen sensors.
  5. Install in reverse order of removal.
    1. Tightening torque: 
      1. 36-46 N.m (27-33 ft.lbs)
