Fuel Line Safety Procedure

NOTE:

Fuel in the fuel system is under high pressure also when the engine is not running.

Remove the fuel-filler cap and release the pressure in the fuel tank.
Disconnect the fuel pump relay (FP RLY) connector (6-pin type connector: 4 terminal) located above the accelerator pedal (AP).

Start the engine.
After the engine stalls, crank the engine several times.
Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
Connect the FP RLY connector.
